Before starting the AI Interview, ensure a detailed and current resume is uploaded. The more Zara knows about you, the more meaningful the conversation.
Prepare environment
Find a quiet environment where you can complete the full interview uninterrupted. Login on a computer or laptop as phones and tablets are not supported.

Is a resume required?
Yes. Before beginning your AI interview with Zara, please ensure that you have a current resume uploaded. Zara will customize the interview based on your skills and previous experiences, so the resume is critical to ensuring a high-quality interview that showcases your unique skills.
Can I perform the interview on a phone or tablet?
No. Currently the interview must be performed on a laptop or computer. We recommend you find a quiet spot and ensure you have at least 15 minutes of uninterrupted time.
What happens after the AI interview?
Once your interview is complete, we use a combination of AI tools and humans-in-the-loop to evaluate and score your interview. Those scores are used to help place you in the queue and help us assign the right people to the right projects in the future.
Can I stop the interview in the middle?
If you are facing technical problems then you can click the button to indicate something is not working properly and the interview will be stopped. If everything is working properly, then there is not another way to pause the interview or resume at another point.
Is the interview recorded?
Yes, the AI interview is recorded and will be made available to the Alignerr team to review and evaluate.
